Air Conditioning Services

There’s not much worse than being stuck in traffic on a hot day with broken aircon. 

Here at Autlec Automotive, we can fully repair your air conditioning, including replacing faulty condensers and compressors, swapping out cracked tubing and seals, and finally recharging your system with refrigerant once we’re certain it’s hermetically sealed.

Anti-Skid Braking System (ABS) and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) Services

The Anti-Skid Braking System (usually abbreviated as ABS) prevents the wheels from locking up and skidding uncontrollably, by pulsing the braking force. The ABS basically automates a technique known as threshold braking, which is used by rally and racing drivers to deliver the maximum amount of braking power without causing the vehicle to skid.

In simple terms, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) compares the angle of the steering wheel (the driver’s intended direction) to the G-force sensor (Vehicle body direction) and attempts to correct the body to match the steering angle. This is achieved by applying brakes to one side of the vehicle, forcing it to pivot on an axis (the centre of the vehicle) and engine torque is reduced at the same time as the brakes are being applied to slow the vehicle and catch the oversteer or understeer.

If your vehicle’s ABS or VSC light is on, a fault may be present which may compromise your vehicle’s safe drivability.
